Playson to Expand Its Global Reach via Deal With Tier-One Operator

Playson, one of the fastest-growing digital entertainment suppliers operating in over 20 regulated jurisdictions, has announced a groundbreaking collaboration. The company has agreed to supply its award-winning content to PokerStars, a leading online poker and casino operator.

Thanks to this agreement, Playson will make its games available first in the UK and other jurisdictions where PokerStars is licensed by the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA) and then in the UKGC markets. The operator will probably launch Playson’s games in Spain and Ontario at a later date. Initially, Playson is set to supply PokerStars with Solar King, a game loved by millions across the world. Its other big releases, including Coin Strike: Hold and Win, 3 Pots Riches: Hold and Win, and Royal Coins 2: Hold and Win, will follow in the near future.

Owned by Flutter Entertainment, PokerStars has been offering premier online gaming services since 2001. The company has become an established and trusted name in the iGaming industry, and it now controls more than two thirds of the online poker market. Additionally, it offers video slots, table games, and live casino titles from reputable providers while also allowing its visitors to gamble on popular sports like football and basketball. PokerStars owes its favourable reputation among players for providing a secure gaming environment, as the company holds three highly recognised licences — the MGA, the UKGC, and the SGA. Partnering with such an industry giant is a perfect start to 2024 for Playson, and it coincides with the company’s ambitious growth plans. Over the next few years, it intends to expand its business and establish itself as a valuable addition to online casino operators. With this in mind, the supplier continues to innovate — it has recently launched a new Hold for Spin feature aimed at improving player experience. In her statement, Playson sales director, Blanka Homor, has hailed the deal with PokerStars as a major milestone for the company. She has added that Playson's games portfolio is a must-have for all leading companies within the online casino industry, and this partnership reinforces Playson’s position as a truly distinctive, world-class developer. This is Playson’s first content distribution agreement in 2024, but during the previous year, the studio teamed up with numerous operating partners from different jurisdictions. This includes the Ear Platform, Pasino from Switzerland, Betnation from the Netherlands, and Vincitu from Italy. Furthermore, Playson secured the Gibraltar B2B remote gambling licence, hosted several Playson & Friends gatherings, and was shortlisted at some of the leading award ceremonies.
