Catch the Maximum Win in Yggdrasil’s Latest Slot Game — Nice Catch DoubleMax™

Nice Catch DoubleMax™ has nine symbols — four low-paying (club, diamond, spade, and heart) and five high-paying ones (a soda bottle, a flip phone, an anchor, a shoe, and a red marlin). Aside from the red marlin, which can significantly boost your winnings, there are also three more types of fish, each carrying a different monetary value. If a fisherman symbol appears (on reel 5 exclusively), it collects the values of all fish in view and awards a win.
However, the star of the game is undoubtedly the developer’s DoubleMax Game Engagement Mechanic (GEM), which is a multiplier activated when fish symbols line up left to right. It can increase your earnings 2x through 256x, and it applies to all wins during the spin. Landing 3, 4, or 5 scatter symbols (represented by a boat) will trigger the bonus round and award 8, 11, or 14 FS, respectively. If the fisherman icon then hits the reels, it awards an additional FS and doubles the multiplier prizes for the duration of the feature. Yggdrasil also included a Golden Bet option, which gives you a higher chance of activating FS for an additional cost of 50% of your stake. Once you trigger it, there is a Gamble feature, as well, which can upgrade the number of FS from 8 to 11 or from 11 to 14. Finally, the bonus buy option (if available) takes you straight to the free spins mode, which you can enter by paying 100x or 500x your bet. In an interview, Yggdrasil’s head of product and programs, Stuart McCarthy, explained that fishing-themed games continue to be extremely popular with players, and he was delighted that DoubleMax, the company’s unique feature, would only reinforce their latest underwater adventure. He added there was no doubt Nice Catch DoubleMax™ was going to net players some big wins thanks to its plethora of lucrative features.
