Yggdrasil and its long-term partner, Peter&Sons, have released their 21st video slot — Frozen Age. The developers invite you to help the protagonist Batista in his endeavours, while you immerse yourself in stacked wilds, progressive multipliers, and a plethora of free spins.
Your journey starts in a freezing cage, with a 6x6 gaming grid buried deep within the polar ice. Batista, dressed in summer clothes, overlooks the grid to the right. Meanwhile, on the left, you will find ancient beasts encased in ice. Frozen Age has 50 paylines and low- and high-paying symbols. Don't confuse it with a Gigablox slot, as the symbols do not merge to create bigger ones. Instead, you’ll occasionally see 2x2–6x6 icons (called Monster blocks) randomly land across any position on the reels. Additionally, there are Synced blocks that can transform all Monster blocks into matching symbols.
The game also boasts wilds, scatters, and wild respins. The last feature triggers randomly in the base game whenever 1–6 wilds appear on the grid. There are also roaming wilds that can change positions and convert Monster blocks into wild symbols. Landing five or more scatters will take you to the bonus round, awarding up to 36 free spins. Wild respins are also active during this feature. Moreover, you can also progress up the tier system by collecting special wilds. There are four tiers, and the great thing is that the multiplier goes up to 10x as you climb your way up.
