Play’n GO has decided to take you on another journey to the land of Mithrune in its new video slot — Tales of Mithrune Syn's Fortune. The developer released Champions of Mithrune, the first game inspired by this magical kingdom, in 2022, but the sequel has taken a slightly different approach, bringing along new characters and featuring a slightly lower maximum payout.
The game takes place in an Arab village filled with exotic flora and chunks of rocks floating in the sky. The gaming area in the centre is laid across a 5x4 grid comprising 20 paylines, with the mighty Syn the Shapeshifter standing on the right-hand side. He has the power to transform one of the four characters in the base game into the highest-paying symbol, which is, in fact, Syn himself. The wild can help you create more winning combinations, while the scatter is responsible for triggering the bonus round. If you score 3 scatters on reels 1, 3, or 5, this will initiate the Power Up feature, a lead-up to free spins.
It takes place across a 5-reel grid, where special potions, scatters, and character tokens may land. You have 3 lives at the beginning of the feature, and every time you score any symbol, the counter resets (up to 10 times). Landing 3 instances of one of the characters will upgrade them during free spins, getting 3 scatters will grant you one additional free spin (up to 10), and collecting 3 potions will increase the multiplier value by 1 (up to 10x). The multiplier only applies to the middle reel of the free spins grid.
