Hit the Road and Rob the Rich in Play’n GO’s Latest Slot Game — Highway Legends

Fans of the legend of Robin Hood, especially the tale of robbing the rich to give to the poor, will most likely enjoy Play’n GO’s brand-new release — Highway Legends. The game takes you on a thrilling adventure full of unexpected twists and turns that may award payouts up to 1,250x your bet. Players have access to stacked wilds, two free spin rounds, and the lucrative Cash Collect feature.
Highway Legends tells the tale of two highway robbers, Swift Rick and Lady Pearl, who roam the forest roads in search of riches. It is played on a standard 5x3 grid, featuring 20 non-adjustable paylines and a solid RTP of 96.25%. Once you start playing, you’ll encounter three types of wilds (stacked, sticky, and standard) and a scatter that can activate fantastic bonuses. Each player can choose one of two types of free spins — Stacked Wild Hold Up (awarding 10 FS) or Roaming Rider Wilds (granting 15 FS).
The developer included another interesting option — the Cash Collect feature, allowing you to collect Cash Bag symbols that award between 2x and 30x the bet. You can trigger it only in the main game. Play’n GO’s head of game retention, George Olekszy, has stated that everybody loves a good old historical video slot game and is proud that Highway Legends fits the bill. He added that this release stands out thanks to several innovative features, including stacked wilds and unique abilities for each character. Olekszy has concluded that this slot captures the spirit of historical adventures. Play’n GO released several games with similar themes, including:
  • Royal Masquerade (2015) — A mysterious romance set along the Venetian canals, with an RTP of 96%;
  • Wild Rails (2019) — A train-bound adventure with horizontal reels, a first for Play’n GO;
  • Wild Trigger (2022) — A story of two legendary bandits featuring stacked wilds on either side of the reels.
Highway Legends is the 17th video slot Play’n GO launched in 2023. The developer’s portfolio counts over 280 online slots and classic bingo games. The company has also inked several deals with European operators, such as Sisal in Italy and 32Red in the UK, and secured Swedish and Spanish operating licenses.
