Lend a Hand to a Mexican Wrestling Trio in Play’n GO’s Latest Slot Release — Luchamigos

Play’n GO has released a new slot game called Luchamigos, combining two popular aspects of Mexican culture — lucha libre (wrestling) and chilli peppers. The developer invites all players to step into the ring and help the three amigos win the Lucha Libre championship while enjoying this game packed with free spins and wild symbols.
Set in a square of a small Mexican town, the game features an audience, two commentators, and a wrestling ring. It is laid on a 5x4 grid, offers 1,024 ways to win, and has an RTP of 96.02%. Aside from four low-value symbols, there are four high-value ones (a wrestling belt, a glove, trunks, and boots). Luchamigos introduces three wrestlers, better known as Amigos Wilds. Like regular wilds, they can replace all symbols except the scatter (Power Chili). The scatter symbol can appear on reels one, three, or five and activate the two most important features of this game — the Hot Amigo and the Power Chili free spins.
Landing a Power Chili and an Amigo Wild on the same reel will trigger one of the Hot Amigo features. These can include:
  • Gran Chico — Triggers one 2x2 mega wild
  • Roco Elastico — Produces stacked wilds(s)
  • Salvajes — Creates four random wilds
Power Chili can also trigger seven free spins, provided you land three of them on reels one, three, or five. Unlike the base game, you can activate the Hot Amigo feature during free spins without a Power Chili. The more of them you land, the higher you progress on the Chili meter (above the reels), where you can bag up to 15 free spins plus the seven initial ones. The lucky players who reach the fire symbol on the meter will trigger the Hot Spin, which awards one guaranteed win and, once again, activates the Hot Amigos feature. As soon as the meter is full, the player receives the Ultimate Hot Spin, consisting of one guaranteed win and a boosted Hot Amigo with a different number of wilds. While maintaining the chaos usually associated with Mexican wrestling, Luchamigos offers players some brilliant bonus features.
