Microgaming Kicks Off New Year with Exclusive Releases

Feb 2, 2021 Artyom Ustinov
Just a couple of days after we entered the New Year, Microgaming launched its first exclusive release. On January 5, a six-reel slot called Shamrock Holmes Megaways (All41 Studios) appeared. With a huge maximum payout and 117,649 ways to win, this high-volatility game follows the ventures of your favourite leprechaun detective, Shamrock Holmes. This slot, along with another release, features the renowned Megaways™ license owned by Big Time Gaming.
Two days later, on January 7, another title popped up — The Bounty (a Microgaming and Snowborn Games collaboration). Spaghetti Western fans, this one is for you! Each player will be a nameless bounty hunter that must catch the desperados and collect six wanted posters to hit the jackpot. With five reels and 15 paylines, the game takes you on an exciting adventure in the Wild, Wild West. On January 12, the Foxpot (Foxium) went live. With three reels and only one payline, the game is unlike anything we’ve seen recently. Despite what you might think, the game promises up to 10,000x payout, which is something we can work with. Foxpot boasts many features, including the Money Award Wheel with three possible jackpots — Mini, Midi, and the Foxpot that can reach up to 10,000x the stake.
With such a tight schedule, Microgaming continued to shower us with innovative offerings. January 14 was the launch date of the Golden Stallion™ Ultraways™, which is the first Micrograming publication coming from Northern Lights Gaming. Yet again, we travel to the Old West, but this time we ride the majestic horses through a canyon. The five-reel slot jam-packed with free spins can reach a massive 196,608 Ultraways™. Players looking for a wild explosion of colours will love the Hyper Strike™ (Gameburger Studios). Launched on January 19, the standard 5x3 slot with 20 paylines brightens up our day with its lively colours and a funky soundtrack.
Just a day later, on January 20, Microgaming graced us with a slightly different game that belongs to the video bingo category. The Pachinko (Neko Games) is inspired by unique pachinko parlours located in Japan. This release rewards players with free balls instead of free spins. Another game with a Megaways™ license is the newest Microgaming addition — Forgotten Island Megaways™ (All41 Studios). Featuring a giant prehistoric gorilla, the game boasts extra spins, multipliers, and literally thousands of ways to win big.
