NetEnt Is the Latest Addition to the New Michigan Online Gambling Community

Feb 3, 2021 Anna Kiselova
NetEnt made its grand entrance into the Michigan online gambling market the same day MCGB (Michigan Gaming Control Board) allowed online casinos and sports betting.
Along with this provider, many notable operators rushed to take their place on the iGaming scene — DraftKings, Churchill Downs, BetMGM, BetRivers/RSI, William Hill, Golden Nugget, FanDuel, and WynnBet. All operators launched their Great Lakes State platforms on January 22nd. Operators that provide online casino services boast a range of games supplied by this top-rated software developer. NetEnt continues to grow its US footprint after being acquired by the Evolution Group at the end of last year in a jaw-dropping deal worth SEK 19,6 billion (£1,71 billion). Michigan players will have the chance to play some of the gambling community’s favourite titles — Starburst, Divine Fortune, and Blackjack. These games are already big hits in the US states where gambling is regulated — New Jersey, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania. For this occasion, Jeff Millar, Evolution’s Commercial Director for North America, said that the American market is their number one priority. He also stated that Friday’s launch was a great success thanks to meticulous planning over the last couple of months. NetEnt’s first-day entrance in the Michigan market highlights the Evolution Group’s presence, making it a front-runner in the US. The world-renowned casino content supplier was always the first to launch its products in all US states with a regulated online gambling market. In 2015, NetEnt made its US debut by entering the New Jersey scene, followed by Pennsylvania in 2019, and West Virginia in 2020. Later this year, Evolution will also launch its live casino product in Michigan. It will be the group’s third live casino studio in the US, after NJ and Pennsylvania.
