Wazdan Solidifies New Jersey Presence With a PlayStar Deal

Dec 29, 2023 Artyom Ustinov
After being granted a transactional waiver from the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement to launch some games in New Jersey in May 2021, Wazdan has teamed up with several prominent operators. PlayStar is the latest addition to its roster, strengthening Wazdan's position in the US regulated markets.
Under this agreement, PlayStar will integrate the developer’s games through the Light&Wonder platform, bringing them to New Jersey players. NJ audiences will soon enjoy some of Wazdan’s top-performing titles, including Sizzling Kingdom™: Bison, 9 Coins™, Hot Slot™: Mystery Jackpot Joker, Magic Spins™, and Sun of Fortune. Moreover, the famous game Power of Gods™: Hades will also be available. Volatility Levels™ is a trademark feature of Wazdan games, enhancing the gameplay's excitement. This function, accompanied by Collect to Infinity™, Cash Infinity™, and Hold the Jackpot™, will all be accessible to NJ patrons.
PlayStar went live in the Garden State in the fall of 2022. Since then, it has gathered a large player base. The operator is licensed and supervised by the New Jersey Casino Control Commission and the NJDGE. The brand also collaborates with Ocean Casino Resort, which has played a pivotal role in their entry into the NJ online casino space. PlayStar strives to offer a unique gaming experience to its clients through customisation, customer service, and engagement. According to Andrzej Hyla, chief commercial officer for Wazdan, the company's expansion in New Jersey has been tremendous, and they are pleased to cooperate with PlayStar. Additionally, Wazdan hopes to provide players with superior gameplay in the future. PlayStar's chief operating officer, Dan Alexander, has explained that everyone on the team is thrilled to be working with Wazdan, one of the leading providers of titles in New Jersey. With Light & Wonder's help, the integration has gone seamlessly, and they are confident that Wazdan's games will be well received by local players. PlayStar is not the only operator Wazdan cooperates with in the Garden State. A month ago, the developer inked a deal with one of the most trusted names in the iGaming industry, BetMGM, to bring its innovative game portfolio to New Jersey gaming enthusiasts. Before that, Wazdan joined forces with Tipico, Rush Street Interactive, and DraftKings.
