Yggdrasil Breaks Ground With the New Mechanics in Its Latest Game — Starfire Fortunes TopHit™

Just a week after releasing Diamond Symphony SuperMax™, Yggdrasil is back with another video slot — Starfire Fortunes TopHit™. Aside from the patented 10th GEM mechanics, this release features free spins, Golden Bet, Nudge feature, Wild, and Bonus Buy (in certain jurisdictions).
Taking place in a mystic, extraterrestrial temple, this game has a 5x3 grid, 20 paylines, and an RTP of 96%. The TopHit reel (above the grid) gives this game its unique appeal and spins like a regular reel set. However, wilds are the true star of this game — once a high-value symbol hits the TopHil reel, it is transformed into a wild for the duration of the spin. The wild can also get a multiplier of up to 5x.
Depending on their jurisdiction, another innovative addition players can try out is the Golden Bet (at the cost of 5x your bet), located on the right side of the grid. Clicking this button activates the Nudge feature on the 5th reel, moves the partially visible symbols to the TopHil reel, and restores their full visibility. Another two options players will love are free spins and Bonus Buy features. The former option grants up to 5 free spins. The latter, if available in your country, allows you to buy your way straight into the bonus round for 100x or 500x your bet. According to Mark McGinley, chief gaming officer at Yggdrasil, the company is delighted to launch its 10th GEM. Thanks to the TopHit mechanic, multiple wilds can land on the reels on any spin. This is further enhanced in the bonus round, where players can grab even more lucrative prizes. McGinley adds that this straightforward mechanic and a maximum payout of 25,000x put a new spin on the intergalactic genre. Starfire Fortunes TopHit™ marks Yggdrasil’s 30th video slot release since the beginning of 2023. The developer recently came out with Diamond Symphony DoubleMax™, Jokrz Wild UltraNudge™ GigaBlox™, and Candyfinity.
